KCI PASSENGER TRAFFIC SUFFERS HISTORIC 95% CRASH!!!

The reality is that the air travel industry will be FOREVER CHANGED by the pandemic as KCMO is now stuck with a fancy new terminal under the control of dinosaur airlines.

Take a look:

KCI sees significant drop in passenger traffic in April

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City International Airport saw a nearly 96 percent drop in passenger traffic in April compared to the year before as the coronavirus pandemic grounded flights and brought travel to a standstill across the country.

  1. WHEW...good thing KCMO was able to negotiate a deal where we are not on the hook for any of the new KCI costs!

  5. How many times more expensive will the totally unneeded new terminal be than the streetcar and jazz district put together?

    SHUT IT DOWN!

  6. I guess no one wants to get in an airtight aluminum tube with 100 others during a plague to come to a murderous shit hole.

  7. Sylvester James, Troy Schulte, and Jolie Justus got taken for a ride by Aviation "consultants" eagerly promoting pie-in-the-sky shiny new terminals as an economic engine kick-starter.

But the only thing getting kicked is the KC-area public stuck with an unnecessary new terminal that must be paid for with exorbitant hikes in fares, parking, purchases, etc.
