KANSAS CITY STAYS WINNING FIGHT AGAINST CORONAVIRUS WHILST STL SUFFERS MORE INFECTIONS & DEATH!!!

Again, we had this discussion earlier this week and now here's MSM noticing local health disparity.

And probably inviting horrible speculation despite very clear insights regarding population density, more poverty and more testing . . .

The St. Louis area has seen more than twice the coronavirus cases and three times the deaths as Kansas City. It's unclear why.

On both sides of the state, very different coronavirus outbreaks have unfolded in Missouri's two largest metropolitan areas. The reasons are not perfectly clear to many experts. The bulk of the state's approximately 9,500 cases to date have been found in the St. Louis region. Including the Metro East, St.

  2. Didnt know this pandemic was a competition. Since we don’t know the cause or really even how this is spread or treated, isn’t it safe to say that the more/less cases anywhere on planet earth is merely happenstance?

  3. 10:46 right about what? Kc has what, 750 cases, big deal, people have been doing the right things here all along, shitty Louis hasn’t been, their numbers have been bad since day one.

I’m using Stl, Stl county and their surrounding counties of Stl.. Let’s use 4/22 as an example, 4136 cases and 151 deaths.

    Yesterday 5/9 was 6237-396.

Kansas City, Jackson county and the six counties that touch Jackson county on 4/22 had 968 combined cases and 29 deaths.

On 5/9 kc and the surrounding counties had 1471 and 39. That covers a huge area compared to the small area around St. Louis.

  4. Doesn’t St. Louis have a high percentage of blacks? That might account for the high numbers.

  5. ^^No, they have a much larger population of do-nothing geezers who are ripe for the Rona. Do no big loss.

  7. @11:37 is correct, St. Louis has a 46.7% African American population, while Kansas City's is just over 27%.

Also, remember that St. Louis is "land locked", and its population is concentrated in a much smaller cluster than is the case here.

Those may well be contributing factors.

There are therefore a series of measures that take account of the war’s optics. We have ordered, for example, the closing of bars and night clubs. I cannot imagine that people who are doing their duty for the war effort still have the energy to stay out late into the night in such places. I can only conclude that they are not taking their responsibilities seriously. We have closed these establishments because they began to offend us, and because they disturb the image of the war. We have nothing against amusements as such. After the war we will happily go by the rule “Live and let live.” But during a war, the slogan must be “Fight and let fight!”

We have also closed luxury restaurants that demand far more resources than is reasonable. It may be that an occasional person thinks that, even during war, his stomach is the most important thing. We cannot pay him any heed. At the front everyone from the simple soldier to the general field marshal eats from the field kitchen. I do not believe that it is asking too much to insist that we in the homeland pay heed to at least the basic laws of community thinking. We can become gourmets once again when the war is over. Right now, we have more important things to do than worry about our stomachs.

Countless luxury stores have also been closed. They often offended the buying public. There was generally nothing to buy, unless perhaps one paid here and there with butter or eggs instead of money. What good do shops do that no longer have anything to sell, but only use electricity, heating, and human labor that is lacking everywhere else, particularly in the armaments industry.

  9. Bordering Illinois and their major highways to Chicago probably contributed greatly to the higher numbers. The rail system in STL didn't help either. The area has more commuters across city lines.

  18. I'll tell you why St. Louis has seen more cases. Those liberals are dirty they don't wash or take a bath. They are really low class people. I have even seen them pick their nose and put it into their mouth that's how gross they are. Scummy scummy people. Kansas City has gotten just a dirty. Wish you people would leave the country like you said you would do. Just think you could have sex with Miley Cyrus or Beyonce. How about it liberals leave....Yes?
