  1. I want Cheesecake Factory. I wanted to eat there Thursday and the place was dark no people anywhere. Didn't even know if they were having carry out. The Plaza looked like the day after.

  2. The restaurants need to put more work into communication. The website doesn't match the Facebook page doesn't match the online ordering doesn't match the sign on the door. The restaurants will not have lines out the door on Friday and Saturday night in the near future. Even the restaurants going to extremes to accommodate the situation haven't done enough. I am not going to drive to a restaurant for food unless I have a better understanding of the what to expect when I get there. Too many odd hours and limited menus and new prices and unhappy staff to be bothered. Sad situation but for the consumer to partake in the restaurant the restaurant owner needs to make it a pleasant experience.

  3. Sounds like a desperation gamble by under-capitalized chef/owners.
Might be interesting to see how many locations on this list survive till the end of the year.

This is Kansas City, and the local road to "fine dining" is littered with the memories of failed chef-driven high-concept efforts.

We aren't all the Bob Evans fan who continuously posts snark here, but the majority of us still seem to prefer food quality and good service over presentation and pretension.
Bet Teocali, Lidia's and Gruenauer aren't too worried

    1. Be afraid forever! Ignore the science! The government will tell you what to do. Everyone who sets foot outside is dead in SECONDS.
