Kansas City Reopen Debate Week In Review

The Kansas City metro reopening isn't going well.

There's shouting in JoCo meetings, small biz revolt in KCMO and a great many people planning on staying home to avoid the hot mess altogether.

This week, public TV focuses on politico response to the intense debate.

Check the description:

"Nick Haines talks to Quinton Lucas, Mayor of Kansas City, MO, David Alvey, Mayor of Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, KS, Carol Suter, Mayor of Gladstone, MO, and Mike Brown, Vice Chair of the Johnson County Commission, about the timing, restrictions and process for reopening businesses after COVID-19 shutdown precautions and how they are addressing pushback from constituents."

Take a look . . .

(Where 4 bald men and a woman listen to themselves talk)

Nick Haines of JoCo KS (via Wales) interviews:

Faux-Professor Quinton "this ain't the way" Lucas
Every time he blinks he tells a lie.

Mike "Listen To The People" Brown

    David "Riverbend" Alvey

    Carol "Keep It Simple" Suter

Though 99.997% of KCMO residents have survived the coronavirus, Mayor Quinton Quagmire is determined to kill or harm many more before he's forced to abandon the effort.

Personal responsibility. If you're worried about the coronavirus, stay home, for as long as you wish. If you want to get back to normal, then do it.
