KANSAS CITY POLICE USE TEAR GAS & FLASHBANGS ON #BLACKLIVESMATTER PROTESTERS!!! MULTIPLE ARRESTS AS AUTHORITIES PUSH CROWD EAST!!!
Sirens are echoing throughout Midtown Kansas City right now as KCPD crackdown on protesters.
Here's their statement:
"As tonight’s protests continue; we respect everyone’s right to peacefully gather and protest, we have used CS gas (known as “tear gas”)to encourage people to remain out of the street in compliance with city ordinances. We will continue to ensure a peaceful night for everyone."
"We appreciate those who are expressing themselves peacefully. We hear you. Bottles have been thrown at police officers and vehicles damaged. We're doing our best to maintain order and keep everyone safe."
A last note, possibly disputing flash-bangs . . .
"Rocks have also been thrown. Some types of fireworks or incendiary devices were ignited in the park."

#BLACKLIVESMATTER PROTESTERS ARE SCATTERING THROUGHOUT MIDTOWN, WESTPORT AND UP TO LIBERTY MEMORIAL AS KCPD CRACKDOWN!!!
Confirmation of flashbang use from KMBC:
KCPD uses tear gas, flash bang to disperse Plaza protesters Saturday
And again, pushing the crowd East, dispersing the gathering on The Plaza seems to be the order of the night.
What's more important for our readers is to realize that this protest as a political and social justice effort is now, mostly, concluded.
Driving around tonight we notice protesters fighting with one another. Still a few optimists carrying signs and a few standoffs with authorities throughout Midtown.
