KANSAS CITY PET PROJECT HELPS HOBO ANIMALS BUT STILL HAVEN'T PAID WHAT THEY PROMISED FOR NEW SHELTER!!!

First, a nice local story with a cute pupper and almost no background information . . .

Dog foster volunteer helps combat homeless animal issue in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - KC Pet Project saw 11,000 animals in its shelters last year. This year, that number is down, despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The decrease has a lot to do with volunteer foster families in the community who are stepping up to take in animals.

To wit . . .

Animal lover insiders inform us . . . "When we called them for help with animal placement the staff had no idea what they are talking about."

Even worse . . .

DONATIONS HAVE DRIED UP FOR THE NEW KANSAS CITY ANIMAL SHELTER AND CITY HALL MIGHT NEVER SEE THE $10-MILLION THIS GROUP CLAIMED THEY WOULD PITCH IN TO HELP PAY FOR FANCY NEW DIGS!!!

Their donation page looks stuck at 21% without an update this year.

Meanwhile, in a time of great financial crisis for KCMO. There hasn't been any accountability for this EPIC sum that remains unpaid and unquestioned.

Developing . . .

  2. Here's a good reason you don't break ground until a minimum level of funding is in the bank. The City got played, and there's not much they can do about it now. Karens-1, City Hall-0.

  8. Roshann Parris sold the City a bill of goods. She ought to be responsible for the shortfall but she lives in JoCo. She promised Cliff Illig would make you the shortage...tall tales told for tails.

  9. The city and that shelter don't care about us folks and our neighborhood problems. It's about only looking good. Lack of services over all this is starting to show. seeing dead dogs in the streets, aggressive dogs and no one, not even our elected officials are standing up and demanding better - shame on all of you.
