Kansas City Old School Outbreak Endangers Bar & Restaurant Reopen

Here's the best report on City Hall concern that could further complicate the already confusion 10-10-10 plan that's ALREADY facing rebuke . . .

KCMO monitoring COVID-19 outbreak at Northland facility

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City, Missouri, Mayor Quinton Lucas and health department officials said Thursday they are monitoring a COVID-19 outbreak at a Northland senior living facility. Lucas said health officials are monitoring a total of 11 people, seven residents and four staff members, who have tested positive at the McCrite Plaza in Briarcliff.

look, if we can't test the obvious places, we shouldn't be opening up yet.

why in the heck aren't 100% of the people at nursing homes, meat and other factories, and first responders tested periodically?

In my opinion, social distancing at restaurants is wishful thinking.

Old folks homes and restaurants have nothing in common, it’s a stupid comparison. I got news for you people, social distancing isn’t working at Costco, grocery stores and hardware stores like Lowe’s. Where’s the outrage there? Is it because they provide a lot of taxes? Makes you wonder doesn’t it.

We were told masks were not important, we were told when we flatten the curve things would open. Right now this all about politics. When the KC city council and city hall stays open, they have no right telling other people to stay closed.

Testing is bullshit. Contract COVID-19, and die or become immune. Anything else is a waste of money and time.

You are absolutely RIGHT!
They are connecting nursing homes, which are locked up tighter than prisons, to bars and restaurants.
I have never seen any nursing home outings to hit the bars in Westport on a Saturday night.

Meathead seldom misses an opportunity to stand in front of a camera and run his self-centered mouth while seeking glorification. If he was actually great, COVID-19 cases and deaths would have declined. Since problems have increased, he is a damn joke, but not a funny one.

Neighborhoods do exist north of the river. Briarcliff is a neighborhood. No need to lump every person north of the river into "Northland".

The effectiveness of social distance is limited to the percentage of the population actually distancing. Quinton Lucas and the every moving target isn't working. It's not that difficult -- six feet of distance, masks if you cannot keep six feet of distance, no crowds, wash your hands, stay at home if sick and get tested if the sickness matches the symptoms of COVID-19.

no math...
