Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas Shares Sneak Peek At New COVID-19 Reopen Rules

The 10-10-10 plan turned out to be a dismal FAIL for the city hall leader as restaurants and small biz basically pushed him into a political corner and he flip flopped on the most stringent requirements of his controversial public health policy.

Here's a hint at the new plan currently underway . . .

Mayor Q Tweeted: "Kansas City's current order ends May 31. Necessarily then we will have more to share soon on our amended order (we will still have compulsory elements) and plans for our continued responsible reopening approach."

Fox4: Current Kansas City reopening restrictions will be extended, Mayor Lucas says

KSHB: KCMO COVID-19 restrictions will be extended into June

A reply from Mayor Lucas:

"10/10/10 appears to be the only jurisdictional reopening rule anywhere around here that's actually still the same it was two weeks ago. But, I do look forward to sharing further details on our ongoing reopening process!"

  1. The boy blunder blunders again. Every business that is being strangled by the Q ball needs to leave the city and move to a jurisdiction that is not so anti-business. Every good citizen needs to seriously consider moving out of KC to a neighborhood that is not going to be burned down by the worst elements he is allowing to run wild. KC is lost unless they get rid of this incompetent fool now. Where is the recall petition?

  2. Quinton has been a complete failure as mayor. Too bad they don’t have an affirmative action program for mayors, where he wouldn’t be allowed to fail. Any success Quinton has ever had was due to some type of affirmative action program.

They won't need to leave the city.
They will not have a business to leave with.

  4. It's just a blip, or so Quinton Lucas told us. Ask him about the city manager or the assorted department heads (or the lack of). No one is running KCMO, literally.

  5. The Mayor seems irritating and controlling!
