Kansas City Coronavirus Stat Update As Reopen Eclipsed By Rampant Violence
Kansas City is currently on pace for a RECORD-BREAKING YEAR FOR HOMICIDES. For better or worse, the local impact of the pandemic is also scary in its own right for a lot of reasons but mostly because local voters can't ignore this crisis for fear of losing out scoring political points.

Kansas City Health Department: As of May, 18 KCMO has recorded 864 positive COVID-19 cases and 20 deaths.
KMBC: The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 156 new cases of COVID-19 Monday, bringing the statewide total to 10,945 since the start of the outbreak. Health officials also reported 11 more patients died from the virus. There have now been 605 deaths across Missouri from COVID-19.
