The COVID-19 lockdown reopen has been exceptionally violent on Kansas City streets.

THE LATEST SPATE OF DEADLY GUNFIRE OVERNIGHT CONTINUES THE 20% KCMO HOMICIDE SPIKE DESPITE THE PANDEMIC!!!
As always, we note that critics of local coronavirus policy point out that homicides have far outpaced local pandemic deaths in KCMO proper - However, officials counter that when other parts of the metro and nursing homes are included, that argument falls flat.
Nevertheless, here's the report from the latest murder scene that erupted near a continually dangerous stretch of road:
KSHB: "Officers were called to a shooting near Bannister and Crestview just before 11:15 p.m. Officer discovered a vehicle stopped nearby on Bannister west of 71 highway. Police found a man who had been shot and killed inside the vehicle. A second shooting victim arrived at a hospital. He has life-threatening injuries."
