END ALL DEBATE: DOC FAUCI PREDICTIONS DIRE AS KANSAS CITY ENDURES 200%+ CORONAVIRUS SPIKE AT REOPEN!!!

This morning our blog community talked about the "low key" 200%+ spike in coronavirus cases that Kansas City has endured over the past week.

Today, the top doc in the nation shared dire predictions about the upcoming reopen. Meanwhile, local biz and right wing leaders are eager to get the public back back to work whilst progressives haven't offered much of a plan beyond hiding under the covers and watching horrible Internets stand-up routines.

To wit . . .

WHO DO YOU BELIEVE IN THIS "END ALL" DEBATE OVER CORONAVIRUS, THE REOPEN AND THE 2ND WAVE RISK?!?!

As always, TKC REFUSES TO GIVE MEDICAL ADVICE given that our diet consists mostly of caffeine, Cheetos and celery juice . . . Because a ghost says celery juice can cure EVERYTHING, including poor career choices.

But I digress . . .

Here are the worthwhile links we're sharing about today's testimony and a bit of a local connection . . .

    2. ^^^ Wrong.

This shouldn't be about politics. It should be about public health and how to keep everyone safe. It's too bad so many Republicans are uncaring about other people going out and dying so they can keep getting their steaks.

We were told that coronavirus was highly contagious, and spread by droplet.
We were told that seniors were at higher risk.
We were told to social distance, and stay-at-home if possible.
We were told that Dr. Fauci was an Infectious Disease expert.
We were told to listen to his independent judgment.

But, Dr. Fauci is 79-years-old, crowded into the daily Coronavirus Task Force media briefings for weeks without a mask, standing/sitting next to others without masks, and is closely affiliated (including financial relationships) with those who've been pushing the "prolonged shutdown crisis" agenda and the forthcoming mandatory vaccinations. Never trust the person who seeks to profit off of your misery!!!

Don't let scientists and epidemiologists and experts tell YOU what to do! No sir! You've got a LIFE to give, oops, I mean, live! Not gonna let those 80,000 dead folks tell you it's fake! No way!

  7. 9:12 We had 8 new cases reported today, no new deaths reported in over a week, stay home if you’re scared soy boi. People have been doing the right things out in public so our numbers have been declining as they should. Fauci needs to keep his pie hole shut until the numbers say otherwise. He’s a statistician and that involves a whole lot of guessing. I like the good doctor but he can’t make any decisions on what’s right or wrong until the numbers say one way or another otherwise he’s guessing, he’s said all along that if people keep doing the right things we’ll be fine and the the number of cases will decline. You don’t have to be a doctor to figure that out.

Kc has already met the 14 day guide lines they established for opening up.

He’s either doom and gloom or positive that opening up the country is ok, well doc, make up your mind. We’ve already made ours up.

  11. It is absolute fantasy to believe that the spread of a disease can be positively halted by social distancing or lockdowns. Of course there are going to be outbreaks. As long as our healthcare system is not overwhelmed we can deal with those cases. We may be caught up in a big experiment but that experiment is the lockdowns themselves, not the relaxing of the lockdowns. How did we become convinced that something that has never been tried before is both reasonable and correct?

  18. Kc has had 791 confirmed cases of which probably half have recovered but we don’t know because the city won’t release those numbers, they gotta keep the narrative going to keep the fear in people so they can control them.

    1. Oh, yes, the "narrative" is all they're worried about. Certainly.

Let me explain it for you this way.

We went from 0 to 500,000 cases in two months. Then from 500,000 to one million in two weeks.

We went from 600 dead in March to 80,000 now.

So let's definitely go to a restaurant, then bowling, then get a tattoo. Why not, right?

You are some of the dumbest people I've encountered, anywhere ever, and if you catch it and die or suffer life-long debilitating effects, you'll have earned them.

No wuhan virus, wanna know why? Because less than .009% have been infected, now you can choose to be scared to death and all freaked out so staying home for you is really a good idea because dummy’s like you can’t handle the slightest bit of responsibly being out in public.

  21. 10:20 did you know that over half of the cases are on the east coast? Did you know that over half of the dead were from nursing homes? Did you also know that that moron coumo ordered all the covid 19 old folks that were in hospitals back to the nursing homes only to infect all the other people who weren’t sick until they came back?

I’m gonna bet your dumb self that most of these cases wouldn’t have happened if only certain politicians didn’t send patients back out into the world instead of leaving them in hospitals or other safe quarantined areas until they recovered enough to go home. You didn’t think about that did you.

  23. If you want to stay home that should be your right. If a person does not want to stay at home they should not have to. If a business wants to remain closed then that is their right but if a business can adjust to the conditions they should be allowed to be open. Some how big business is being allowed to be open while small business told to stay shutdown.

  24. Dr. Fauci has to worry only about the health aspect.

Trump has to worry about both the health aspect and saving the economy so we all have jobs and can put food on the table for our families. It's a tough balancing act and decision.

The Democrats and CNN only have to worry about attacking and second guessing every decision that Trump makes.

  27. Would you believe me if I told you that COVID-19 was a covert US military operation to identify and exterminate blood drinking adrenochrome junkies worldwide and that "covfefe" was a code word for the operation meaning "covfefe" = "COVID-19 > (FeFe) (Fe2) (Iron)" because Iron and ferritin are crucial in the adrenalin oxidation process into adrenochrome. COVID-19 and adrenochrome both bind to the same ACE2 receptors. Basically habitual adrenochrome users are particularly vulnerable to this virus.

It's really about how you define "acceptable losses".

Gun violence kills about 30,000 every year, but "we've" decided those numbers are acceptable, apparently, because we won't do anything about it. We don't even talk about it.

About 30,000 people every year commit suicide, & we don't do anything about it. We don't even talk about it.

About 30,000 people die in vehicle accidents every year, & we don't do anything about it. In fact, everyone complains that driving at safe speeds is inconvenient & boring.

About 150,000 people die every year from influenza. We don't do anything about it. We don't make taking the vaccine mandatory, & little effort is expended educating the anti-vaxers.

It's obvious that the country is willing to add another 100,000 or so every year to the acceptable losses category because doing something about it is inconvenient.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Trump has admitted that he is willing to see 100,000 dead, or more, if the economy just gets going...and by that he means if the stock market goes back up. Why? Because he sees that as what his re election hinges on. He knows the American people don't care about death as long as it's mainly the other guys family. And in a country of 300,000,000 people, give or take, statistically it will usually be the other guy. After all, the people accept 700,000 dead innocents being aborted every year, and are now even starting to accept infanticide; and American women are willing to kill hundreds of thousands of their own unborn...so much for motherhood. Trump is a warmonger and has lied to all his wives so he will certainly lie to you...what's a 100,000 dead or even a quarter million dead or even more? They will be forgotten...just like YOU will be if you should be a casualty. So good luck, it's obviously every man for himself now.

No WE did not, 10:20. WE, us folks in Kansas City, went from zero dead, to 30 in two months. WE don't live in the New York metropolitan area. WE can tell the difference between a cowtown and Gotham.

  37. FACT

As of May 12, the KCMO Health Department reports 16 deaths from the coronavirus.

    KCMO has approximately 500,000 residents.

That means the coronavirus has killed .000032 percent of the population. A miniscule fraction of 1%, (3 one-thousands of 1%).

Smoking-related deaths dwarf the coronavirus count.
Alcohol-related deaths dwarf the coronavirus count.
Narcotics-related deaths dwarf the coronavirus count.
Homicide deaths dwarf the coronavirus count.
Suicide deaths dwarf the coronavirus count.
Accidental deaths dwarf the coronavirus count.

If you live in KCMO, and you're worried about dying from the coronavirus, then you should also be worried about dying from a lightning strike, because your odds of either happening are about the same.
