Torchy's Tacos Coming Soon To Kansas City

Local foodies are quickly looking past public health concerns and the lack of a vaccine . . . Turns out this news has the Kansas City middle-class fired up as if the cure is found in trendy Mexican hot sauce . . . We can only hope. Check the news from M2, this town's top entertainment writer:

Torchy’s Tacos is set to make its Tex-Mex debut at Ward Parkway sometime in June-ish. The 3,500 square-foot Torchy’s—the first in Missouri—will be located at 8815 State Line on the south side of Ward Parkway Shopping Center, in the area known as “The Pavilion.”

You decide . . .

Oh, goody. Tacos. Stale shells, bitter lettuce, cheap meat, shredded cheese, all covered with plenty of hot hot hot sauce so your mouth can't tell what you're eating. And they are going to charge you big bucks for the privilege. Sign me up on the no thanks list.
