TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY MSM BLACKOUT 'REOPEN KC' MOVEMENT!!!

These bums stole the graphic I stole from KCMO . . . But rather than dwell in typical cowtown pettiness, instead we offer FIRST WORD OF A RISING KANSAS CITY SOCIAL MEDIA MOVEMENT.

TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! KANSAS CITY MSM HAS REFUSED TO OFFER THESE LOCALS ANY LOVE OR MUCH COVERAGE!!!

The local news cold shoulder is real given that this effort has been live for awhile now and pressers were already rejected by quite a few local news desks.

Fact is, most of these dudes are scared to speak out using their names but EXCLUSIVELY AND FIRST VIA TKC . . . We all know this is coming from the clique of Westport & Midtown leaders who have been pretty frustrated at how this lockdown scenario has played out so far.

Anyhoo . . . Because the Illuminati should blame Zuck before TKC, here's the mission statement that's already gaining traction on Facebook . . .We offer only to humbly break news whilst other "journalists" break wind via human interest stories.

Real news now . . .

ReOpenKC

"We, residents of Kansas City, implore our elected officials to Reopen KC no later than May 3, 2020. We are losing our small businesses, which are the backbone of the economy and the larger layoffs have just started. The shutdown will do more damage than COVID-19 if we don't get back to work sooner than later (search death rates related to unemployment). Common sense personal hygiene, staying home when not feeling well and GETTING PEOPLE BACK TO WORK is what is needed asap. #reopenkc"

A cry for help from the public that has hundreds of likes & shares already . . . And an interesting discussion TKC will watch . . . FROM OUR BASEMENT HQ.

You decide . . .

    1. They have a free speech right to speak out. It's better to have the conversation than just ignore opposing viewpoints.

    2. I was wondering if/when news was going to mention this. Figures that TKC would do it first.

May not agree with this blog all the time but I'm glad that it's here.

    3. Stay at home, debate at home.

There might be hope of ending the lock down early but demaning it now is irresponsible.

The 2nd week of may might be up for debate.

  2. When the tyrant granny in Topeka went three weeks more, KCMO had to go a little longer, considering how few cases there are in KS outside of KC area.

    2. Prove it. We were also told New York hospitals would run out of beds March 24 and 2 millions Americans would be dead by April. It didn't happen and still hasn't.

  10. KC has had 12 deaths from the China Virus. How many murders has KC had in 2020? 45 deaths

    2. I was thinking the same thing. I drove by what I believe to be was another shooting in midtown KC last night. Has anyone else noticed the vast increase in the homeless population within these last three weeks? Particularly downtown/midtown/ just north of the plaza.

  11. Actually Kansas is the last to get anything in the USA. Within 1 month we will have 240 people dying per day in the KC area. Thats like a sniper killing 240 people per day in our fine city. Death is death. Your just as dead as if you have been shot. Open up now and we will have 500 dead per day.

  14. For those of you who slept through that BORING "germ" stuff in HS biology class and now get their medical advice from a fat orange TV clown (whose own grandfather DIED in the last pandemic!) I wish there was a way for you to go about your lives without being inconvenienced by the need to keep the rest of us from being infected with a life-threatening virus. But, you will spread the virus to the rest of us. And, even if you did not, you will not be content to die quietly in a corner, but will clutter up our medical system until it breaks.

So, sit quietly and read a book. Oh, sorry. Watch TV. Anything but FOX.

    3. 3:24, you will be in no danger if you stay inside your house all the time without visitors. Meanwhile let those who are not at high risk go about their lives. It's not all about you. Never was.

      Delete
    4. Would that be the Swine flu that Obama failed to catch in time ?

      Delete
    5. Phil you know what else are "germs"...the flu and common cold, which is a Corona virus" too. We don't cower in our houses every year for the flu that kills far more...80k in 2017.

If you are at risk or just scared stay home. Let the low risk people open their businesses and return to work...we do not live in a risk free world.

      Delete
    6. Phil, the point of the lockdown isn't to assure that nobody gets the China Flu or dies from it, it's to make sure that the health care system doesn't get overtaxed. We don't prevent people from driving because drivind causes injury and death. Their needs to be a balance.

If the objective was that nobody ever get sick, then we would all cacoon at home indefinately and cash (what would eventually be) worthless government checks.

  15. May 3 is the day stay at home ends in Missouri and that should include Kansas City. If you want to stay home that should be your right but the Mayor should not be able to force people that want to open their businesses to remain closed.

    1. Are you going to be responsible for any medical bills occurring due to your theory of A Mayor should not shit ? How much do you think it costs daily to place a person in the hospital ? 16. We need to strike a balance and enough time has passed. If Quicktrip, Hy-Vee, the Street Car, the buses, the Liquor stores and Wal-Mart can be opened so can other places. We just have to use common sense. The sky is not falling.

    1. What common sense? These idiots shouldn't be out meandering around. Why do you think Johnson County is considered community spread? It's because idiots with, "common sense," did NOT take the warning seriously.

    2. So many ppl ignoring the stay at home and social distancing, yet there is only a fraction of deaths as compared to the model that said if we do everything perfectly still have 200 to 500k deaths. Hmm it's as if they just wanted to scare everyone with baseless predictions to create a fake plague for political reasons.

  18. I've talked to Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. All would like to see things open sooner rather than later. However, I live in an area of educated people who would rather defer to scientists. Maybe we can find some middle ground. Slow open places or stagger openings. But let's face it. Even if you full on open everything up, restaurants and other places are going to be really empty. The majority of society is aware that another outbreak could fuck shit up immensely. Educated people will be concerned about this until the medical community says it's ok. I do agree with 3:48 though, there needs to be some balance.

    1. Another out break of a weak plague...ooo so scary. Stay home and beg for more handouts until everyone will be safe with absolutely no risk. Life is full of bad things and risks.

  19. Even once things open back up I think you will still see a certain amount of hesitation by a majority of the metro residents for a while afterwards. Rude unhygienic type people in public will face harsh criticism if they fail to clean their acts up. Some of these confrontations might even get physical. There will always be the damn the torpedoes full steam ahead folks and then there will be those who use common sense and err on the side of caution for sometime to come if not forever. I think we also are going to see more people wearing masks in public much as you do in many countries over seas. To some this pandemic was an eye opener as to how lazy and it always happens to the next person many of us have become in today's world. If you depend on the government to protect you from any health issues you're clearly are not thinking clearly.

In many respects we are already/still open with work from home and the self-defined 'essential' on the job...it is just the JOCO housewives who can't get to their fav retail clothing and accessories stores that are suffering...oh,the horror.

  24. If Walmart, HyVee, Quiktrip, Trader Joe's, Menard's, Target, Liquor Stores, etc. have been open this whole time and the sky hasn't fallen then it is time to open all businesses. Walmart, HyVee, Trader Joe's, Menard's, Liquor Stores, and Quiktrip have all been packed with people daily with zero social distancing implemented. The mayor did NOTHING about this yet he is still punishing small businesses.

    ReplyDelete
  25. According to WHO and the CDC hospital beds in New York should've ran out by March 24 and 1 million Americans should've been dead by April 1. Neither one of these projections has come close to happening.

    ReplyDelete
  26. The scientist have already spoken! This virus is here to stay and most likely comeback. There will be no magic bullet vaccine. We only closed down to give hospitals time to deal with the surge of patients. When our primary care physicians are able to test us as part of our wellness exam, many will find we already had it back in February and March. We have herd immunity. Herd immunity along with a vaccine for our high risk populations is whats going to save us. Not closing down some businesses and not others. The balance is open stuff back up and people make an informed choice to either go out or stay at home. From the looks of people going to Wal_mart, Hy-Vee, Price Chopper, Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Dollar Store, Bass Pro, and eating take out at Chipolte, Jack Stack, Gates, Arthur Bryants, and the list goes on, nobody cares about catching it. Kinda like AIDS, a lot of you still not using a condom.

  27. FFS, better to open a month late than a month early. What's
a matter with you people? Spent all your dough on Miller Lites and ammo and now ain't got nothin to show? GTFO

  28. According to the number of dancing nurse and dr tic tock videos the surge fizzled, hospitals are deserted and far from burdened.

Time to go back to work freeloaders n deadbeats. Pay your Bill's n rent, carry on with life, no one said it would be easy, fair or risk free.
