Protestors gather to push for small business, large death tolls

Confusing social distancing with the concept of socialism while also pushing the QAnon conspiracy. // Photo by Jim Nimmo We've been asking members of the KC community to submit stories about life under house arrest. If you've got a story you'd like to share, please send it to brock@thepitchkc.com for consideration.

  1. It's so funny how they are pushing this thing to bring down both small business and large companies. What the pitch wants is to use this virus to bring the power of the globalists in. Just look at all of the celebrities who claim to have had the virus and didn't, take a look at how they are blowing this up to scare people. One minute the virus is slowing down the next minute it's going to be worse this week and we are all going to die. Tell the pitch to go crawl up their liberal ass.

"What the pitch wants is to use this virus to bring the power of the globalists in."

      Complete fucking nonsense.

Theoretically, they want to make money.

  2. More Americans have now died of Covid19, than all the Londoner's who died of the plague. (And the plague was a 2 year ordeal). Covid19 has only been here 2 months. Leaving home will kill people. Wealth or Life?

    1. ^^^ But if no one is working and paying taxes who’s gonna pay for your welfare, food stamps, rent and Escalade?

    2. wealth or life is not the choice. Life and making sure the scum sucking government bails you out is the directive.
appropriate signs, wearing masks, and practicing social distancing would have been a better tactic for this crowd.

  3. If you go out, you will keep spreading the virus. When a key Chief's player gets it, can't play again and our team is ruined -it will be your fault.

  4. I see the Pitch is using strictly OBJECTIVE writers...NOT!

Jim "Dimwit" Nimmo violates the basic tenet of journalism, "report the story, not your own opinion." Yes, Dimwit may be a citizen journalist, but nonetheless, it's sloppy and unprofessional.

Let's start with the title: "Protestors gather to push for...large death tolls" Dimwit shot his wad, right out of the gate!

The Pitch indicates that Nimmo is "under house arrest", so perhaps he has a long rap sheet of similarly atrocious behavior. The solicitor of this trash journalism appears to be one "Brock" at the Pitch, who lets slip his editorial malfeasance and extreme political bias with the commentary "the ill-advised protest that ignores both science and loving thy neighbor. Please stay inside, we beg of you."

Sorry Brock, I know you're accustomed to begging on your knees, but those of us still with intact reasoning and logic skills don't take orders from a flunky like you.

Now go off and run another ad for The Shady Lady, while you work on your editorial "Why I Support The #METOO Movement"...scoot along.

  5. 8:44 you realize after nearly four months of covid 19 being around kc only has had 438 reported cases amongst nearly 500 thousand people right? We actually don’t have that many cases because those numbers still include the dead and recovered.

  8. Looks to be like they were just exercising their rights. Maybe if they stood a few feet further apart that would've been better but giving up the first amendment completely is not ever the right thing to do. I may not agree with them but I respect their commitment and I hope they are okay.
