By Jill Draper The Blue River got its first report card recently, and the results are not great. This 40-mile-long waterway, which flows from the Overland Park Arboretum north to the Missouri River, earned an overall score of C-, with grades of D and F for native habitat, community awareness and government collaboration.

ReplyDeleteThe Blue River runs along my backyard. In the last 10 years they greatly improved the flood problems and the look of it. Now I have a dedicated bike trail nearby. The wildlife seems to enjoy it too. I've had a selection of critters that I didn't see before they did.

11:43 the issue with the Blue was taking place long before anyone in Kansas City knew who Donald Trump was. Blame those asshole democrats in Johnson County who stopped what would have been the proper flood control start to dealing with the Blue River back in 1975.
