SOCIAL MEDIA OUTRAGE TARGETS GUV KELLY AMID KANSAS UNEMPLOYMENT WEBSITE FAIL AND NONPAYMENT!!!
As coronavirus cases increase in Kansas there is a legitimate debate about reopening the state, church gatherings and a return to normal.
However . . .
THERE IS NO DENYING THE KANSAS UNEMPLOYMENT WEBSITE HAS COMPLETELY FAILED & WORKERS NEEDING HELP HAVE BEEN IGNORED!!!
As the shut down continues the situation in the Sunflower State is growing desperate and social media feedback has turned into a maelstrom of frustration, threats and desperate pleas.
The Missouri unemployment website has suffered similar hardship but nothing compared to the MASSIVE UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIM DENIAL we're seeing in Kansas as requests for help simply go unanswered and seemingly ignored.
The outcry has been so loud that Kansas Guv Kelly offered some guidance. Now, after weeks without unemployment insurance payments and workers struggling to survive without any hope of work for at least another two weeks . . . We checked the response to Guv Kelly's call for patience via Kansas Dept Of Labor updates . . . Take a look:
JoCo Mom Demands Real Life Answers:
"How about you start answering questions about why people are filing, but nobody has been being getting money. Why is payment not being issued? I've tried calling numerous times and can't get a hold of an actual human to talk to about it."
Kansas Pandemic Busy Work:
"All I get when I call is a busy signal? Did the phones not come online this morning?"
Hanging on the telephone:
"I FINALLY got into the phone system enough to put in for a call back. Got a busy signal the 1st 5 times of calling... then on the 6th time I got the automated menu and was able to put in for a call back in an hour! Been on hold for almost 2 hrs now"
Waiting is the hardest part . . .
"Still have a waiting week & I filed a claim for 3/21 & system says I never did."
Local in Lenexa locked out:
"I been locked out for 3 weeks now and can't get a hold of anyone."
