SLOW DOWN!!! KANSAS CITY SPEED DEMON TICKET GOING 133MPH!!!

With speed traps going up across the metro today . . . Here's a bit of the reasoning behind the public safety move:

'This is why you'll see us enforcing speed limits:' KCPD says lighter traffic has led to speeding

If we're all supposed to be staying at home and social distancing, why are Kansas City, Missouri police officers still conducting traffic stops?Kansas City police officials said even though we're seeing less traffic on the roads, some of the lighter traffic has led to excessive speeding."Again, this is why you'll still see us enforcing speed limits," the department said on social media.Within the past week, the department issued a ticket for 133 mph in a 55 mph zone on I-29 and Waukomis Drive.

  2. It would be nice if the traffic cops would spread out a little more and avoid setting up the same spreed traps. It also would be nice if they focus on more than just writing tickets. You could have a dead body in the trunk, a kilo of coke in the back seat and a gun in the center console and the traffic officers will just ask for your license and write the ticket. In fact, they have to write so many tickets a day to stay in their unit that any arrest and/or tow will cause then to use time needed to meet their quota.
