SHOCK!!!! CLAY COUNTY SHORTENS STAY AT HOME ORDERS IN EPIC CORONAVIRUS SNUB AGAINST KANSAS CITY LEADERS!!!

Kansas City metropolitan area solidarity against the conroavirus pandemic took a major hit today.

The upshot . . .

CLAY COUNTY REJECTS PRECAUTIONS OF MAYOR QUINTON LUCAS AND MOVES UP THEIR REOPEN DATE!!!

This hour the news broke via social media and has earned both rebuke and and support.

Given that many U.S. health officials and WHO claim partisan politics and lack of global solidarity is ‘fueling’ coronavirus pandemic . . . Local news is reporting the move without noting the very significant election year push back as the rural Missouri GOP dominated County parts ways with KCMO Democratic Party dominated urban areas dealing with more instances of the outbreak.

And so, unsurprisingly, it now seems that we're not really "OneKC" after all.

Fox4: Clay County shortens stay-at-home order to May 3 due to ‘low rates of new COVID-19 cases’

"The county originally set an end date on March 15 in parallel with Kansas City, which was the first local municipality to announce a stay-at-home extension. Clay County will now end its order on May 3.

"The order, signed by the director of public health for the county, Gary Zaborac, states that the current social distancing measures have “demonstrated having a measurable impact on reducing the number of cases of COVID-19 in Clay County’s jurisdiction.”

“The desire to begin to safely reopen our communities and begin the first phase of the plan to do so exists,” the order elaborates."

Here's the update and link to the Clay County decision . . .

Update: The Stay-at-Home Emergency Orders for Clay County will now expire on Sunday, May 3 at 11:59 p.m. (https://bit.ly/351sFvU). There are many reasons for this change, including consistently low rates of new COVID-19 cases, increased accessibility to testing, and aligning with the state's plan to also lift their stay-at-home order on May 3. Learn more about how this decision was made by reading the FAQs here: https://bit.ly/2XWjYBm.

We will be releasing a plan to gradually reopen our community, with the needs and safety of those who live and work in Clay County being the first priority. We ask for patience and understanding as we finalize that guidance and that you stay tuned as more information is released in the coming days.

    2. Really? Do you have a MLB team or a NFL Team over there in Kansas? Do you have KCPL, One light, Two light luxury living over there in Johnson Co? Ya have some dopes homes over there in JOCO and the owners of those homes come to Missouri to party and enjoy everything Missouri has to offer that Kansas doesnt! Ya you have The race track but thats a redneck sport, you also have Sporting KC which is a gay sport, so shut the fuck about Missouri Moron, more people want to live on the Missouri side as opposed to the douchbag side of the line, so go fuck yourself in your 3rd basement with your moms ex boyfriend.

    3. St. Louis and our own inner city pull the avg. IQ way down. Imported Asian students in Lawrence pad the Kansas score. Measuring unnecessary murders would be a better guide to general maturity.

There are 54 million in the U.S. LIVING in poverty. In January these people had good jobs,There are food lines that rivels the Great Depression. Opening up is to late only a few will be willing to spend money.

  6. I'm sure all the experts in Clay County know what they are doing?

The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warned Tuesday that a second wave of the coronavirus outbreak in the fall could be worse than the one hitting the U.S. now because it would come at the opening of the flu season.

"There’s a possibility that the assault of the virus on our nation next winter will actually be even more difficult than the one we just went through," CDC Director Robert Redfield told The Washington Post. "We’re going to have the flu epidemic and the coronavirus epidemic at the same time."

Oh well time will tell. Might be a good time to get that life insurance policy you have avoided getting around to buying.

    4. Are you suggesting we stay at home through next winter, Dave?

What effect will an economic collapse have on overall health?

Keep listening to your globalist slave handlers, Dave.

I hope people have learned a lesson here but I seriously doubt it.

    6. If your dead 8:12 you won't care. What if your kids or wife die because you're more worried about the economy. Lets get back to work but do so in a way that protects people if possible. Be cautious in how you do so. But since you had to be an ass in your comment I doubt there's anyone who gives a damn about you.

Okay here is what we do:
Open everything backup all wide open again business as usual.
Stop all stimulus payments as a business will not be asked to ever close again no matter how many die from anything.
No more unemployment checks they stop immediately.
All rent and mortgages payments are due on their given dates, no if ands or buts or your butt gets thrown out of the place.

Now that you all have that I don't want to hear one fucking word about your aunt dying because she or you can no longer stay home all safe and sound.

If your whole family gets wiped out it's to bad as only the fit will survive and the rest will be thrown into a huge funeral pyre and their ashes sold at Grass Pad for those who have gardens or flower pots.

    1. Yeah, fuck the weak and the sick and the people who can't fend for themselves. Let 'em die!!! That's what FREEDOM is all about, right?

Unfortunately the virus is taking a lot innocent, healthy people. Even really stupid people, like you!

You've got a lot to learn about the role of government in public health. Without the initiatives in public health after the last 80 years, you might not even be here to spread around your ignorance.

Which would actually be a blessing.

      Delete
    2. But so many of the above posta all said Dave was wrong and full of shit so who is right?

You were so quick to point shit out so which way will it be?

We are waiting asshole enlighten us with all this so called knowledge you think you have.

      Delete
    3. It's common knowledge of anyone who's halfway intelligent 8:53. But since you're not, I'll enlighten you.

      Are you dead from smallpox?

How was that bout of cholera you had from that dirty water you drank?

Did your steering wheel impale ywhen you were drunk and crashed your Cavalier into a pole?

Are you limping around because of the polio you had?

      No?

Thank public health initiatives over the last 80 years. And that's just a sample.

So by all means, 8:53, don't listen. Don't listen at all. We'll all be better off with you in the ground.

Also, Stupor Dave spews diarrhea out of his mouth every hour, every day.

      Delete
    4. But the so called public health you harp about let over 850K get infected and 45k plus have died here in the good ole USA in a very short time.

I think listening to what Dave says over idiots like you is a smarter move any day any time.

      Delete
    5. And what would it have been without any guidance, 10:09? BECAUSE YOU'RE AN EPIDEMIOLOGIST, RIGHT? What are your numbers on how many would have it? How many tens of thousands would have died? I'm sure you have the projections right at your fingertips?

Go ride some buses all day tomorrow and report back in a couple weeks if you're still fucking alive.

This all depends on the density of people...and you're plenty fucking dense.

      Delete
    6. Blah Blah Blah, even I think the dense person and full blown idiot is you. I agree with several here including 10:09. Where is all this guidance you talk about? You have to be Funkyshitty nobody else around here is this stupid. So go snort another line of coke and head on down to the Plaza where a number of statues are awaiting you to come preach at them.

Humans are so fucking stupid!! Its survival of the fittest now bitches, most live paycheck to paycheck and unfortunatley that wont be enough to survive what is coming, wise up worker bees your job isnt worth your life, or maybe it is thats up to you, we all die eventually anyway - so go back to work non essential morons.

    2. Not angry at all 9:58, just watching stupid people doing stupid things. I am kicked back at home, I saved some money so I am good for a year or two. While everyone else was out spending their paycheck on entertainment on the town, I had a emergency fund, and I live paycheck to paycheck like the rest of most everyone, but I had a contingency plan, and because I did I am living better than most in this shut down, because I planned for a emergency if it were to happen so this pandemic doesnt effect me, My bills are all paid because I planned for something like this, and I donated my stimulus money to help a family who didnt plan for a emergency like this, everything happens for a reason.

  19. Neither Mayor Q nor the KC MO city councilors south of the river claim the north of the river; and in turn, Clay county doesn't claim KC MO. Clay County doesn't have the density and doesn't have Brandon Ellington babbling on Facebook about conspiracy theories.

  20. They shortened it so the Ford Claycomo plant could open back up on May 4th without the UAW complaining that they were being put in conflict with the stay at home order. Now they can say that the health department allows it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. It comes down to money and the possibilities of civil unrest. The government is broke they cannot afford any further drain on the tax and spend structure that was in sad shape before the virus.
