  2. Many restaurants and new joints couldn't even survive more then six months during the Roaring Slie James era. Or in some cases folding shortly after they opened.

  3. Don't worry only the small local businesses will close, the large corporate businesses will be mostly fine.

  5. Today I heard an ad in the radio for a relief drive for Bartenders. Now, while this and other corona virus ads are a welcome vacation from the 7 yr over-and-over again asinine PSAs that OUR tax dollars pay for ("come to the forest") this one imbued me with the kind of clarity that totally undermined the mission of saving bartenders from homelessness. You see, I am drunk right now, and I did it all myself ! I didn't need some fuckbag who thinks his job of pouring drinks is a " profession". I did it, and even managed to mix a few, while saving myself about 70 bucks. When I loosened up enough to talk about my problems, I found that drunk dialing friends that I hadn't spoken to in 2 yrs were a better shrink/bartender. Therapists oughta be the next ones exposed as non-essential. My old friends told me to quit drinking-good advice-and no bartender will ever tell you that until you are drunk and he/she is worried about a lawsuit. So-fuck bartenders! And while we are at it- fuck waitresses to ! I fed myself just fine, and I didn't need a stupid bag to take the leftovers home in- I just turned the plate upside down into Fido's bowl ! "Reservoir Dogs" Mr. Pink was right, dont expect me to help pay the rent. By the way, I'm no cheap bastard. I always tipped about 20% while my date bitched about the service. Just a newfound vision about what matters, that's all. I plan to pass on my tips to the other people who do things that I can't do myself.
