  1. Not the Raytown we grew up in, and for the most part we're powerless to do anything to improve it. Raytown has been slammed with rental homes and an extraordinary influx of inner city refugees. I doubt that the city will ever recover. Closing this Wal-Mart would be a step in the right direction, but the TIF consequences rule that out.

  2. To early to tell but if I had to guess its wasnt a Raytown resident, look the KCMO hood has two Walmarts for hoot rats to shop at...Raytown Walmart, and the Walmart at 40 and I-70, both locations push most people to drive the extra mile to Walmarts in safer areas. This isnt the first shooting at the Raytown Walmart. Cudos though for Raytown PD for taking another cochroach off the street.

  3. I've always said that they should serve warrants as people leave walmarts. End of Walmart, end of majority of our criminals.

  5. Can't even drive down 350 or Raytown Road anymore without witnessing 'tude or provocative behavior on the roadsides or from drivers or their passengers. (And it's not like we're on the lookout for anything, either.) It's simply the norm for the area. Shut down that Wal-Mart. Start somewhere to get the herd behavior in check. It would be a start. So many good people in that town are being driven out by the actions of a few. Terrible area.

  6. Left the great Raytown in 2006. Was wonderful until a strange mood moved across about late 2004. It was the mood you would guess, and was all motivated by gangsta-rap crack babies getting older than age 6. No hyperbole, I was having probs with ones even that young. When you talked to their moms (their pappys were never around) you could see there was no solution short of a change of heart by the perps. And just like the pop culture that destroyed 40 % of the folks I grew up with-drugs, free love, anti-authoritarianism-these people thought their wickedness was a form of protest. In reality, they were simply enjoying destroying because they owned NOTHING ! Social engineering has bent over backwards to place them in middle class neighborhoods and meant that they do not appreciate the work ethic or responsibility it took me to own a home outside of the ghetto. By the way , fuck former Raytown mayor Sue Frank, whose moronic Hillary bullshit accelerated Raytowns demise. Wake the fuck up people ! All proof is in da pood.
