Celebrating Passover In Kansas City 2020

What makes this night different from all other nights?

Well, Skippy, this time around and once again the plague is more than just a scary story.

And so, tonight we share just a simple, meager post tribute because this blog has allowed TKC to meet a few very nice Jewish people I wouldn't have otherwise known AND growing up in Catholic school in KC they taught us to respect ancient traditions in order to try and make up for that whole Spanish Inquisition bad deal . . . Among other things.

Accordingly, I'm still not sure if wishing somebody is a "Happy" Passover is the proper etiquette but I stole found a nice meme for the lead photo and that seemed a bit more classy than linking & celebrating a hottie Israeli supermodel . . .

More to the point . . . These headlines seem to inform the holiday in KC and around the world . . .

KC Jewish Chronicle: Perspective on isolation

CNN: This Passover, the seders are virtual. The plague is real

JP: President Donald Trump gave his annual holiday blessing, where he spoke about the unique situation everyone has found themselves in this year.

ABC: Jews celebrate passover amid COVID pandemic with virtual seders

JTA: You’ve probably forgotten how good ‘The Prince of Egypt’ is. Well, now it’s on Hulu.

Hopefully, more for the morning update . . . STAY TUNED!!!
