Supporters claimed that the new airport "wouldn't cost residents a dime" but not the place is pretty much running off taxpayer backed federal stimulus like the rest of the nation right now.

ReplyDeleteIn addition to austerity measures the aviation department has about $145 million in unrestricted cash, or about 580 days cash on hand. The aviation finances are well managed. and Kathryn Shields stated as such. KCMO finances as a whole, not so much so...
