MAYOR QUINTON LUCAS REBUKES TWEET CRITICIZING PREZ TRUMP CORONAVIRUS RESPONSE PENNED BY KANSAS CITY HEALTH DIRECTOR DR. REX ARCHER!!!

Downplayed by mainstream cowtown media, local conservatives have bristled over several comments from Kansas City Health Department Director Rex Archer.

In a worthwhile interview, right-wing talker Pete Mundo called out the KCMO doc to the Mayor this way . . .

"Mayor, last week during the press conference you had at City Hall. Your health director Rex Archer said, 'if we do this well - We could have 3 to 4 shut downs in the next 24 months. We had the Dr. on Friday to ask him about that and didn't really get a clear answer."

And then the conversation quickly turned to this controversial tweet. . .

@RexArcherMD Recently: "Even with the President ignoring his top public health and medical doctor appointees, and trying to get them to lie to the American people, the overwhelming majority support the social distancing measures."

Conservative Talker Pete Mundo Asks: "Is that appropriate?"

Mayor Lucas answered: "I don't think so. I will address that with him again. I think those type of comments are unhelpful. I've said it before . . . If you wonder why I usually kick off our many press conferences. That is one of the many reasons . . . "

Listen tot he entire interview here:

Here's what we know for sure after the interview revelation buried within this conversation . . .

BEHIND THE SCENES TEAM Q HAVE GROWN INCREASINGLY FRUSTRATED WITH TACTICS & DR. ARCHER'S COMMENTS AND NOW ARE ON THE RECORD WITH THEIR CRITICISM!!!

Even better, and EXCLUSIVELY ON TKC, there's a very real debate at 12th & Oak right now about scaling back the KCMO lockdown. Insiders advise the mayor that Dr. Archer and his progressive stance might make a convenient scapegoat for a sooner reopen as local biz community pressure intensifies.

  1. Reopening Kansas City too soon would be a horrible mistake and might prove the doctor correct. We might have to close back up.

  4. Yes people like Lucas will all start looking for scapegoats to put the blame on. First off why are these health people making policy or lockdown style comments in the first place. They should all be together in one room for a press conference or a press release that all agree upon what should be said and then answer no comments from the reporters who simply want to try and trip up what was said or meant.
That's the problem with this whole virus deal. Too many so called experts all singing out their opinions while a huge majority have no real answers or clues but always seem to be full of advice that you should follow.

Too many bubbleheads all jabbering at once and most making no sense at all.

This is an issue the media blew out of control not Trump. Trump is trying to be open and sharing things from meetings he is in or a part of. But the media wants to control our world now and that means they want to control you because you fall for everything they say everyday. The media is the herder and you're a part of the flock.

  17. Sadly, public officials from mayors to governors have to walk on eggshells, lest they offend our psychotic, vindictive Toddler-in-Chief and find themselves deprived of desperately-needed federal help.

Does the Prez LIE? Only when moving his lips. He has -- perhaps for the first time in his life -- run up against a problem that he cannot just con folks into ignoring. There is too much video of him trying to "happy talk" the stock market by minimizing the danger. Worse than trying to delude the public, he was busy deluding himself and his administration. If he was lying while furiously preparing PPE, ventilators and rescue plans, it would be one thing. But lying and NOT preparing is unforgivable. And Americans will remember in November -- which ie why his orange is so ashen!

    3. As you should know, it was the state' responsibility to prepare for all kinds of disasters, epidemics included. The federal government is their backup. While some governors have been screaming (usually on TV) for more federal help, stories have been emerging of how those same states missed and squandered opportunities to build their own stockpiles of respirators, PPEs and the like. And in each case the state was run by tax and spend Democrats, who have to keep transferring money from the public treasury to their constituent grievance groups in exchange for their votes.

    5. Phil, none of your description of Trump is wrong, but the Democratic party is squandering a golden opportunity to defeat him by offering NOTHING in the way of an alternative. Have you seen Nancy Pelosi's ice cream video? Who is she taking advice from? Marie Antoinette? Trump can be blamed and criticized, but no mattter what he does or did, you won't be able to impeach him again, since you screwed it up so badly the first time, and you've got a presidential candidate that suffers significantly deeper mental damage from dementia. If I were a Democrat, I would stake everything on Mail-In voting. What could go wrong with entrusting the USPS with an election?

"And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that, you're going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds -- it sounds interesting to me."

Leave it to the media to irresponsibly take President Trump out of context and run with negative headlines. Lots of experts are bouncing all sorts of ideas around to deal with this virus and the media clown show instead of printing what is said are making up crap to distort what was said.
Nobody told anybody to go inject a fucking thing into your body. Bill Bryan, the head of the science and technology directorate at the Department of Homeland Security, presented the findings of the federal government's study on sunlight, humidity and temperature's effect on the coronavirus -- as well as various disinfectants on the virus when it is on surfaces

Here is what was said Byron you fucking asshole liar.
THE PRESIDENT: So supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light, and I think you said that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you’re going to test that too. Sounds interesting. And then I see the disinfectant where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute, and is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning, ’cause you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it’d be interesting to check that. So you’re going to have to use medical doctors, but it sounds interesting to me, so we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that’s pretty powerful.

  20. The reporting on what Trump said and did is so way out of proportion. With Pelosi saying, “Injecting Lysol in their lungs and swallowing and drinking Drano and Clorox!” He never said it, never implied it, didn’t ask if this is possible.

  22. I heard everything Trump said start to finish. And yesterday when he addressed those professional people, he looked right at ’em, he addressed them, and nothing was out of line. And then — I can’t say I’m sorry to say, but Pelosi has been demoted to doofus status along with her mainstream media cronies.(Byron) Her comments about the Drano, that’s so absolutely ridiculous. And now the media’s running stories about this. “Is the president sick?” They’re gonna be talking about the 25th Amendment here pretty soon, folks, and they’re gonna be pressuring Pence to stand up and say, “You know, the guy’s obviously sick, he’s obviously taken his toll.” That’s the next phase where the Drive-By Media is headed with this, and of course it’s all made up like the Trump-Russia collusion stuff was all made up and amplified. You talk about people in collusion. It isn’t Trump. It’s these people in the Drive-By Media.
