ELLSWORTH, KS (AP) - Inmates at a state prison in central Kansas threw trash from their cells and damaged security cameras during a weekend disturbance that was the second outbreak of prison unrest in less than a week. The state Department of Corrections reported Tuesday that between 125 and 150 inmates were involved in the incident Sunday at the Ellsworth Correctional Facility.
What else can they do ? Not like they are pillars of Society working to better society.
ReplyDeleteThey put themselves in prison. They did the crime. They should not complain. They could be walking in the park, eating takeout food - but they did the crime. blame yourselves. (unless you are innocent and some really are)
ReplyDeleteGov Kelley better hurry up and let these fine fellows out, would not want them getting sick serving their debt to society.
ReplyDeleteGiven the legal system, inmate health care is a minefield. There is no simple solution to this. Ellsworth isn't Lansing, by any means. Not a place you'd expect to find hard cases. Maybe, the guv should be thinking about the prisons, instead, of the churches.
