It's foolish to think the current "you can't tell me to not go to church" crowd is really concerned about their perceived constitutional rights or their religious requirements. It's about their narrative that the government is evil, out to get them, and "no one tells them what to do". If it was really about their religion, they would be more concerned about loving their neighbor, which in this situation means doing what they can to help prevent their neighbor from catching this virus.

ReplyDeleteThe Kansas GOP believes Christianity stands for selfishness and not caring about getting other sick or causing death. The is the lowest of lows for Republicans.
Judgment Day will be tough for them. However, we don't have to wait for that ultimate day. We can exercise our own judgment at the polls this November. We need to be sure that will be swift and severe to those that have endangered all of us.
