KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly will address the state Thursday night as officials work to detail a plan to start reopening the economy. A release from the governor's office indicates Kelly will speak to her administration's plan to reopen Kansas. The state's stay-at-home order is set to expire May 3.

White House health advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci said Wednesday that data from a coronavirus drug trial testing Gilead Sciences' antiviral drug remdesivir showed "quite good news." Speaking to reporters from the White House, Fauci said he was told data from the trial showed "clear cut positive effect in diminishing time to recover."
