Kansas City Royals Stay Losing June???

Just a bit of hope for Summer . . .

"Major League Baseball officials have become cautiously optimistic this week that the season will start in late June, and no later than July 2, playing at least 100 regular-season games, according to three executives with knowledge of the talks. They requested anonymity because the plan is still under consideration."

Report: Royals could start season by late June, play at Kauffman - Kansas City Business Journal

The Kansas City Royals could be playing regular season games within two months, according to a new plan being floated by Major League Baseball. And many of those games could be played at Kauffman Stadium. MLB is considering a plan to open its regular season by late June or no later than July 2, according to a report in USA Today .
