The @KCMOHealthDept has coordinated four pop-up #Covid19 testing sites 4/27-29 for #KCMO residents. The test sites today have already reached capacity. However, testing will also be available at no cost on Tuesday & Wednesday, April 28-29.

ReplyDeleteOnly because it's free. If it had been a $5 charge they wouldn't have sold a 100 I'm willing to bet. But what will it prove? Not a damn thing. You can test negative today and be positive tomorrow. The tests should be saved for those who are displaying the systems of a flu. This is just more crab by government to try and make you think they are really doing something where more than likely 495 of these tests each day will be wasted on people that didn't need to be tested. The other 5 probably won't even know they had anything. From looks of things around the southeast part of town most are not really trying to keep from infecting others while many more are not even trying to not get infected. Trump was right it's a hoax to even believe the general population will even try and protect themselves from it. This is how the media turns a worse than normal flu season backed by lack of decent medical care in other countries into a full scale false/hoax epidemic. The nasty habits I see portrayed daily in this town leaves me wondering how more people are not dying from simple infections every where. Look at the number of moms who place a child in a shopping cart and allow them to slobber and drool all over it while touching said cart followed up by the placement of their tiny hands in their mouths and picking at their nose. Employers should be given the full rights to send anyone displaying a cold or any infectious disease or injuries home till well but they won't from fear of being sued. If you have to be out in public when with a cold wear a mask and stop spreading your germs around. Be responsible for once it's not that hard to do.
ReplyDeleteTime for people to clean up how they live and time for businesses to be operated in a more sanitary and healthy way. If you ever saw what took place in a good number of the places you eat at in Kansas City you would for sure want to stay at home to eat more than not. Look at it this way, if those who prepare your food are not the same people you'd want coming into your home and hanging out why in the world would you want them preparing your food?
.3%, that is one third of one percent, of the US population is currently identified as having this disease that only few people need too really worry about. WTF are we doing? The masks are only to add stress and fear so that they can control us even more. When are we going to say STOP?

ReplyDeleteHalf of the City Council member, including the mayor, were still posting social media promotions without a clue the 500 tests were spoken for. I don't dispute the businesses cannot be closed forever but KCMO isn't ready, the county isn't ready, the state isn't ready and the feds aren't ready. This is where KCMO should have been two months ago.
