Royals Remembered

The first Royals team I ever loved

I was late to playing baseball. Not Lorenzo Cain late, but it wasn't until the summer before fourth grade that I started playing. The late start can probably be attributed to my apparent lack of athletic ability and complete disinterest in playing sports, and looking back, I think my parents did the right thing by not signing me up for baseball.

  3. On January 31, Trump issued a ban on travel from China, and we are now reminded that the president talked about the coronavirus four days later during his State of the Union address — you know, the one Pelosi stood up before the American people and ripped in half.

But even before all of this is the little reported fact that on January 29, Trump formed the White House Coronavirus Task Force — the first confirmed case in the U.S. came on January 21, in Washington state.

  4. When the first cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in January, Pelosi and her fellow Democrats in the House were busy impeaching President Trump:

The irony in all of this is that Speaker Pelosi’s obstructionism delayed passage of the coronavirus relief package hurriedly put together to help desperate Americans, all so she could slip in as many liberal goodies as possible — like $25 million for the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Of course, we know what Democrats were focused on in January.

For two weeks and six days, between Jan. 16 – Feb. 5, as the coronavirus was taking hold in the U.S., Pelosi and Co. were consumed with their failed impeachment trial in the U.S. Senate.

Not only did this partisan campaign to unseat a duly elected president distract the nation, it also distracted President Trump, understandably so.

  5. ^^^So that’s your excuse for his failure to act? OK...what’s the excuse for all the lies about since? You know...we’ll soon be to zero. We have it all under control. It’s a Democratic hoax. One day it will vanish, you’ll see. What of those?

  6. Do not forget that shummer was all over calling trump a racist for stopping chinese flights, pelosi was telling people to go to china town.

Any thinking person should wonder why pelosi and dems tried to derail the relief package with their unrelated pet projects, why dem governors are banning the use of an effective treatment, why CBS would use footage from italy labeling it from New york, why the news is not showing footage of our overwhelmed hospitals, what does gun and ammo sales have to do with fighting the virus, why the networks suddenly ALL stopped airing the daily briefings on the virus, why cuomo has 10s of thousands of ventilators in storage in new jersey, why the media is not reporting the prextg conditions and age of the seriously ill and dead....really make one wonder or not.

I wonder does this KU dr. put a red pin on a map for every 60 - 80 thousand flu deaths each year.
