'This ain't the way': Kansas City mayor raises concerns over Missouri's plan to reopen on May 4
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas is raising concerns with the state's plan to reopen businesses on May 4. Specifically, he's concerned that businesses like nail salons and gyms where people have close physical contact will not have enough guidance from the state.
Lucas open on May 3. KC does not need a bailout from Federal government because of your mismanagement. People can wear masks. Reopen KC.
ReplyDeleteHow will you enforce the masks? By police? That's silly.
DeleteNo Shirt, No Shoes, No Mask, No service.
ReplyDeleteReopen already. Life is not without risk.
ReplyDeleteKansas City MO and Jackson County are the outliers. With the likes of KC MO City Councilor Brandon Ellington using social media to encourage conspiracy theories the communities at most risk aren't any better off whether the locations open start of May or end of May. And Mayor Q does little more than say "please" and clash with the health departments.
ReplyDeleteAs long as there is a gay bar in Lawrence open, Quinton doesn't see the need to re-open KC.
