KANSAS CITY CORONAVIRUS SAUSAGE FEST STARTS AFTER PORK SHUT DOWNS!!!

More and more people don't really "dig on swine" so they had to relabel stories about pork plant shut downs as "meat" rather than pig. . . Because people would probably be better off with less ham.

Here's the local angle . . .

Shoppers stock up on meat, fearing shortage during coronavirus crisis

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - About this time every year, Shawn Newsome spends more than $1,000 on meat to feed his family. "They cut it up right in front of you, and it's really good deal," Newsome said. However, the coronavirus pandemic has other folks stocking up as well, leaving some groceries store shelves bare.

  1. They wouldn't if the news would stop showcasing the shortage. I saw the news report on Sunday talking of two pork plants that shut down. Some expert then got on saying there was no need to panic buy, the non-shuttered plants/processors/etc. have ample stocked in freezers. She got about 15 seconds to the three minute THERE'S NO MORE MEAT!!!!!!!! fear story.

  2. They are using this virus to instill fear. Funny how hoarders are now trying to get refunds on T-paper and wipes. Next the meat will be an issue which is OK with me less meat for awhile is good for you. Eat more greens. No problem here.

  4. If the media says their is going to be a shortage of X, then their will be a shortage of X. It's the easiest of self-fulfilling prophecies.
