For the moment, this town's rising crime wave still proves deadlier than a local pandemic and mostly preys upon our younger residents. Sadly, the tragic situation hasn't evoke much of a response from authorities or politicos. Here's today's addition to the local murder count. Checkit:
Man shot Wednesday in east KCMO dies of injuries, police say
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A man shot Wednesday afternoon in east Kansas City, Missouri, has died from his injuries, according to police. Damen D. Taylor, 18, was taken to an area hospital in critical condition after a shooting shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday near East 39th Street and Crescent Avenue.
