Jackson County Detention Center responds to first COVID-19 case

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Law enforcement said preparation remains a constant as the Jackson County, Missouri, Detention Center now deals with its first COVID-19 case. "We had to steer into this problem instead of waiting for it to hit us," Jackson County, Missouri, Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker told 41 Action News on Sunday.

    Most people in the jail are awaiting trial. Haven't been convicted, so still innocent until proven guilty. Do you honestily believe there's no one innocent being held in there? Or is arresting only guilty peolpe the one thing our local government does right?
