HERE'S WHY NEW KCI WILL FAIL!!!

The reality is that air travel will likely be on some form of lock down until there's a coronavirus vaccine and now the nation is far more accustomed to conducting meeting by teleconference . . . Checkit:

Passenger traffic at KCI down over 50 percent in March

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -- Passenger traffic at KCI was down over 50 percent in March compared to that month last year. The City of Kansas City, Missouri, Aviation Department reports that 480,690 passengers arrived and departed through Kansas City International Airport's gates in March 9.

  1. The FAA is going to say that mass screening of passengers is going to stopped. the way the old airport is the way it should be done in small groups. Sly loses.

  6. If there a reason the airport will fail it's because it is a KCMO project.

  7. The "old" airport failed due to the security requirements implemented immediately after the airport opened. The "new" airport will address both the security requirement and the new safety requirement. The new terminal is schedule for completion in 2023. The reduction in traffic can be leveraged to speed the construction. Other airport projects are receiving increased focus with the lower traffic.

    1. Yes dipshit lower traffic is what it's all about so we can focus more city money on it, look on the brightside, pollyanna.

    2. WTF are you even talking about 10:46? Hell, even with the modern era security requirements KCI was a breeze to get through. KCI never failed other than it wasn't sexy enough for the current crop of KC politicos. That's it. It's like a wife. When you get married, she's young and sexy, as you grow old together, not so young and sexy, but as dependable as solid rock. Progs & Millie think that means she should be traded off for a new model. The rest of us, though shrinking we are, think she is worth keeping around as one of the most dependable, accessible, convenient airports in the Country despite age, and despite the lack of glitz and glam.

  8. Who is flying these days? 50% down seems like very little. Maybe it's just a bunch of empty planes?
