DISGRACE!!! KANSAS CITY STILL NOT KEEPING DISTANCE AT PARKS!!!

Repeated warning persist as the American pandemic death toll continues to climb and locals FAIL to follow any precaution that isn't forced. Meanwhile double talk on masks and the argument over the rate of contagion still have leaders unsure of how to prepare for the future when, inevitably, stay-at-home and social distancing rules are no longer viable.

KC Parks are still challenges for social distancing

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Cars and people packed Loose Park on a beautiful Sunday. The only thing that would make it better is more distance between members of larger groups. Mayor Quinton Lucas says a little distance will go a long way against COVID-19.

  1. Contrary to what you will hear from the MSM, the plague is already over before it even really started, there will be more deaths but mainly old who were already at risk of dying of the flu too and NOwhere near the initial fear mongering models (that were based on a country wide shutdown and quarantine - predicted 500K plus deaths even with quarantine). The overall death rate in the usa will be equal to a bad flu year taking in account all chink flu, seasonal flu, and pneumonia deaths together.

Also contrary to what the MSM reports, there are effective treatments and there is no need for compulsory vaccines.

  3. So how many folks 'have' to die before you see this as something to be concerned about?......"chink flu"?.......
Nice to see what you think of the world.......
It's time to take your spoon out of trump's ass......breakfast is over.

  5. MDSF who said anything about trump, the facts are the facts, nothing more than a bad flu year - seems like good news...try to cope with it. Make today special, the world is not ending, take an extra dose of your anti depressants and HRT today, try on some new panties.

  9. While I do think we could be doing better, going to the park with your significant other isn't going to spread the virus. Just keep your distance from others.

Also, just ignore the idiots. Responding to their nonsense just amplifies their message.

  10. 1056 might want to study the stats. Ironically both people I knew that died were no GEEZERS, NO PREVIOUS ALIMENTS, NOT HOMOS, NOT CHINKS and not related in any way. Both sides of the USA. Think before you prove your stupidity. Both 30 and under.

  11. 1237 ok larper we believe you. Perhaps if the dems and media had not vilified the use of hydroxychloroquine they and 100s of others would still be alive.

THE HILL: New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) said Monday that early responses to the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine “anecdotally” suggest its use in the coronavirus fight has been “effective,”

  13. Over 10,000 have died in the US in the last month from Covid-19.

When was the last time 10,000 died from the flu in one month?

  14. What percentage of the victims are homosexuals? Homosexuals have a compromised immunity system and are extremely promiscuous and frequently have anonymous sex with many other homosexuals. I would stay at least 50 ft away from anyone I suspect is a homosexual.

  16. 126 just recently 2017-18 flu season. 80K deaths flu season oct thru march 6 months.

NEW YORK — An estimated 80,000 Americans died of flu and its complications last winter — the disease’s highest death toll in at least four decades.
The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Robert Redfield, revealed the total in an interview Tuesday night with The Associated Press.
Flu experts knew it was a very bad season, but at least one found size of the estimate surprising.
“That’s huge,” said Dr. William Schaffner, a Vanderbilt University vaccine expert. The tally was nearly twice as much as what health officials previously considered a bad year, he said.
In recent years, flu-related deaths have ranged from about 12,000 to — in the worst year — 56,000, according to the CDC.
Last fall and winter, the U.S. went through one of the most severe flu seasons in recent memory. It was driven by a kind of flu that tends to put more people in the hospital and cause more deaths, particularly among young children and the elderly.
The season peaked in early February. It was mostly over by the end of March, although some flu continued to circulate.
Making a bad year worse, the flu vaccine didn’t work very well. Experts nevertheless say vaccination is still worth it, because it makes illnesses less severe and save lives.
“I’d like to see more people get vaccinated,” Redfield told the AP at an event in New York. “We lost 80,000 people last year to the flu.”
CDC officials do not have exact counts of how many people die from flu each year. Flu is so common that not all flu cases are reported, and flu is not always listed on death certificates. So the CDC uses statistical models, which are periodically revised, to make estimates.
Fatal complications from the flu can include pneumonia, stroke and heart attack.

  17. ^^but you're not a doctor nor scientist, so nothing you say matters. Get back to Faux news. It's a hoax remember?

    ReplyDelete
  18. 159 Right, I am just a normal regular person who can think for them-self and use the internet rather than rely on the information and narrative the MSM (incl. fox) decides to share with me.

No need for a MD to see how you hope and wish for higher death counts to feed your TDS.

    ReplyDelete
  19. “We lost 80,000 people last year to the flu.”

BTW, "the CDC uses statistical models, which are periodically revised, to make estimates." Nice to know you accept modeling and not hard counts.

80K for an annual flu season would be 6,600 monthly deaths, less than the 10,000 in the first month of coronavirus (which is still in early stages of community spread and deaths lag case reporting by weeks).

We are clearly on pace to easily eclipse your worst flu season numbers.

    ReplyDelete
  20. TDS claim? So you're obviously still in the virus is a democratic hoax and denier camp.

    Good to know.

Also, be aware Cult 45ers are not known for thinking for themselves :)

  23. 209 flu deaths are not evenly spread out over 12 months.

The TDS accurately explains the Dems wish and hope for more deaths in order to blame trump, how do explain their vilification of a known effective treatment, hell some Dem govenors tried to outlaw its use, now months later even coumo has to concede it is effective.

THE HILL: New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) said Monday that early responses to the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine “anecdotally” suggest its use in the coronavirus fight has been “effective,”

    ReplyDelete
  24. Make no mistake. When we look at aggregation of mortality statistics for the last three years and this year THERE WILL BE NO STATISTICAL DIFFERENCE. With coronavirus deaths up, expect a reduction in flu and other major causes of death. The flu du jour is currently being tallied as a primary cause rather than ancillary wherever possible to drive up the mortality rate.
