Clay County Jail inmate dies after fentanyl exposure
A Clay County Jail inmate is dead after what's believed to be a fentanyl exposure.The Clay County Sheriff's Department said three inmates started having a medical emergency just after 6 p.m. Friday. Jail staff started CPR before paramedics arrived and administering Narcan.The three inmates, along with the staff members who were exposed, were taken to local hospitals.

ReplyDeleteHow did fentanyl get into the jail? Was smuggled in my deputies? The lawsuit by the deceased against Vescovo and settled by who? Commission won’t settle, especially against Vescovo who endorsed Nolte.
Aren’t prisoners searched? Isn’t the sally port used for interim searches?
And yah, blame Owen or ridgeway so looks like the Sheriff is going to take a big bite of the shi* sandwich...again.
It's the nature of "Corrections", these things happen. Smuggling drugs is something that CRIMINALS do. No facility is perfect. Even a high profile inmate like Epstein was able to commit suicide.
