CORONAVIRUS HITS JACKSON COUNTY JAIL DESPITE INMATE MASS RELEASE!!!
Let's not forget that less than two years ago the living conditions at the jail were ranked among the worst in the Midwest.
Under the radar of most locals, earlier this week there was a massive release of prisoners at this facility:
150 non-violent inmates released from Jackson Co. jail due to COVID-19 threat

“A confirmed case of COVID-19 has been identified in a non-inmate at JCDC. We’re working in conjunction w/local public health to identify all close contacts and determine necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the disease.
