Bike/Walk Activists Demand More Kansas City Coronavirus Breathing Room

Still not satisfied with a major victory . . . Here's the repeated ask for mostly empty bike lanes & trails . . .

"They did not support closing parts of four-lane streets to create connected networks like what we’ve seen in other cities . . . We need KCMO residents to reach out to the full City Council and let them know that we need #SpaceForPeopleKC."

Update: Space for People proposal heads to full KCMO City Council

The KCMO City Council's Transportation Committee met this morning to discuss proposals to create more space for people to better adhere to social distancing guidelines as they walk, run, roll, or bike during the outbreak. The committee supported small-scale, neighborhood-led street projects.

They want to re-make the entire City, getting rid of all Automobiles and all Pedestrians, so it is reserved exclusively for them and the Children's Toys they have become addicted to.

Whole i think the bike activists are wrong, ill give them credit for trying to get what they want
Those of you who disagree with them better either get together and stop them or watch them roll over you
