Hy-Vee replacing all 22 Market Grille restaurants with Wahlburgers

Hy-Vee officials said Tuesday there will soon be a new kid on their block. Wahlburgers restaurants will replace Market Grille in Hy-Vee's 22 stores with a sit-down dining option. The new restaurants will offer counter service instead of table ordering but the seating and bars will remain.

  1. Knew those Market Grilles wouldn't last, especially out in sleaze scummit, which has just about every sit down/take out greasy spoon available except White Castle.

  3. They really screwed up with the Market Grille. It was fine the way it was. You could get your Chinese food there and deli stuff too and sit without having to be waited on and tip. They eliminated a nice chunk of their lunch business by doing that. Next to go, their in-store urgent care. Takes up too much space and there is a saturated market for those anyway.

  4. ^^Hey geezer, if you don't want to tip, don't go out to eat. Nobody wants to wait on old people who sip coffee all day and don't tip for the service. This is why everybody hates you.

  5. Hy-Vee has made a series of terrible blunders and are continuing to do so. It seems they are starstruck with Wahlberg, Mahomes etc. At the Hy-Vee I shop you see a very glum look on the faces of employees.

  6. No, @9:44, you've just proven why everyone hates YOU!
Now STFU, the grown-ups are posting!

  7. Having eaten at Wahlburgers, Market Grille and Market Express, I don't think this is a "step up" for Hy-Vee, more of a "step sideways".

Not much difference in the food at any of the three, lots better available elsewhere.

  9. Wahlburgers aren't all that great

  10. The Market Grille worked very well where there weren't competing restaurants in the area of the store. Changing it to wallburgers won't change that dynamic, especially since the patriots are now has-beens.

  11. Mark beats a " gooks " eye out and you support him ? mark had a handle on Corona before it was cool. Did you also support Von Dutch Nazi shit by buying his hats 5 years ago ?

  12. ^^Huh?? WTF is this mess of shit?? You stroking out geezer, or do you have the Coronavirus?? Either way, get help. You make zero sense!

  13. The Milli Vanillies don't tip because they need that money to pay off all their student loans and high insurance rates. If they are tipping, they're being stupid and should be eating someone else.

  14. ** somewhere else

  15. Although they have a great seleciton of food, HyVee's groceries are too expensive. Anyone going there needs to get a clue about comparison shopping. And if they keep cramming stuff into the stores, they're going to have to go with aisles that only allow one cart to go down them and use "one-way" signs like downtown KCMO. Shoppers like aisle space so one person trying to figure an item's price per ounce doesn't create a five-minute back-up.

  16. Still wont be much of a change. If you take your wife out to eat you don't take her to a grocery store
