State Of The Nation According To Super Dave
As always, we like to highlight alternative perspective and insight from within our blog community. For our late night readers we share an important, homespun take from Dave. Checkit:
SUPER DAVE TALKS MODERN TIMES
"The United States is becoming a country that demands its leaders do everything while voters sit around doing nothing. Nevertheless, many Americans are quick to "rise up" and want to place blame against others. Our justice system is out of control because we no longer have fairness in the court room. Crime is rampant in many areas because our public safety institutions have failed. Criminal actions are no longer addressed equitably, this opens the door to even more corruption. Our public health system is failing because activists demand funding for free education, outlandish art exhibits and tax breaks for developers.
"Too many American people are burdened by taxes for which they receive nothing in return. These issues don't just start in Washington. Bad ideas from activists, consultants and lobbyists originate from within our community.
"Remember: Officials sent to Washington come from our towns and neighborhoods. So, a lot of what's happening today isn’t the fault of a few, but the responsibility of our nation's voters who are no longer willing to work together for the common good. When we elect a representative to office because of identity politics instead of a proven track record, what we get in return is our current crisis of leadership and discontent with the political system we see in place today."
As always, we thank Super Dave because he's a great friend of the blog.
Hopefully, we'll have more news, views, links, insight and lots of good stuff for the morning update . . . STAY TUNED!!!
