How Republicans Snuck Anti-Abortion Measures Into the Coronavirus Bailout Bill
WASHINGTON - A hard-fought battle over abortion raged just beneath the surface of the Senate's $2 trillion coronavirus economic rescue plan. And it looks like Republicans won. Provisions tucked into the fine print of the 880-page bill approved by the Senate Thursday take direct aim at Planned Parenthood, the reproductive healthcare provider and eternal GOP target over its role providing abortions.
ReplyDeleteGood.. Planned Parenthood shouldn't get any money, they make plenty of money selling baby parts to food and cosmetic companies. We all gave planned parenthood plenty of money against our will under the Obama dictatorship when he forced us to pay for abortions in the not affordable care act.

Oh, I'm pretty sure over the next few months and years we'll be finding many, many little "Gems" the Republicans slipped into the "Stimulus" Bill, using the panic and the rush for passage exactly as they had planned.

The medical folks working at Planned Parenthood that get laid off due to the crisis can be immediately absorbed by the hospitals and save some lives (for a change)
