We've noticed a slide in crime over the past week but that doesn't mean that the metro is without danger . . . Here's a troubling story that deserves a look from one of the nicer suburban enclaves:
Overland Park man charged in child sex case
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - An Overland Park man faces child rape and other child sex charges in Johnson County District Court. Carl Reed, 39, of Overland Park, is accused of rape of a child under 14, two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy and one count of misdemeanor obscenity to a minor.
Looks guilty.

Sadly the very low "age of consent" seems to be a license for these girls to go ahead and be sexually active. They think its legal so it must be ok. We should raise the age of consent to 19. Yes Police are aware of girl's activities and there isnt alot they can do to stop it. The girls are sadly ruining their lives. So many have babies in high school. So many other dont - only cause of the abortions. its a rampant problem.
