Mahomes Magic Crunch Cancelled For Now After EPIC Sales And Donations
A new cereal will return in the Fall.
Remember that Forbes told us that Hy-Vee sold about 300K boxes and donated more than $100K to charity.
The newspaper quickie paywall write-up noting the cereal cutoff made an apt TBT comparison to Flutie Flakes. Allegedly, Kansas City's hometown hero crunched the numbers of the pint-sized underdog hero from the 80s & 90s.
There are about 5K boxes left on local shelves. Most of these mass produced "collector's items" will be unopened and kept as souvenirs until they're accidentally destroyed or forgotten. Right now the boxes have little or no real value and, according to TKC readers, the cereal tastes horrible.
