Here's a noteworthy local consequence empty streets along with a response to complaints about an uptick in traffic stops . . .
KCPD: "Our goal is public safety. That's why we're still conducting traffic enforcement. With traffic lighter, we're seeing excessive speeding. One of our traffic officers said he's been working a 55 mph zone today & hasn't stopped a single person going less than 80 mph."

ReplyDeleteI'm sure they are using turn signals , not doing left turns in front of oncoming traffic, not texting and staying in their lanes as well as getting over to allow others to merge, like the KC assholes do every day. Kc Metro is without doubt one of the worse on rude and dumb drivers.

ReplyDeleteYes, the assholes are out on the roads in full on asshole mode. Wish they stop all the expired plate folks and people who drive in the dark with no or only parking lights on. Tough to pay unnecessary tickets in a recession/depression.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how self-centered and above the law people begin to feel when they can't handle a bit of stress to their lives. If they just lost a job, I feel for them, but it's not too hard to continue to follow the rules of the road and not endanger others.

I've seen more expired temp tags in the last week than ever before. I really resent these assholes. I even saw one that expired in July 2019. The rest of us can manage to get our cars tagged legally. Its time to start taking some of these cars off the road because the ticket they get for no registration/insurance they just laugh at. Then they can take advantage of those wonderful free bus fares that we get to pay for too.
