Perhaps an enterprising local journalist could do some looking into (journalism 101) how many have serious symptoms needing hospitalization and/or a ventilator vs. those with only mild or moderate symptoms...such information would be useful to determine the appropriate level of panic.

there's an illusion that kansas is an island, which it's not.

for example, the well-educated, upper middle class denizens of joco, lawrence, and wichita travel a lot.

the illusion of protection is just that, an illusion.

In time, everyone will be exposed. Place your trust in your immune system, and then God.
