Kansas Coronavirus Cases Continue To Spike

59 cases in JoCo, 34 cases in Wyandotte . . . Note that JoCo says they're confirming 50 new cases today but the Kansas Health Dept. hasn't counted them yet. Here's the latest:

KDHE reports 169 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Kansas

Update Wednesday, March 25, 2020 - 1:25 p.m. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment reports there are now 169 confirmed cases in Kansas. Forty-eight cases were confirmed by the KDHE lab while 78 were done at commercial labs.

  1. Perhaps an enterprising local journalist could do some looking into (journalism 101) how many have serious symptoms needing hospitalization and/or a ventilator vs. those with only mild or moderate symptoms...such information would be useful to determine the appropriate level of panic.

    for example, the well-educated, upper middle class denizens of joco, lawrence, and wichita travel a lot.

    the illusion of protection is just that, an illusion.

  4. When you get some time....try and find some of these Anti-Vaxers around....not a "peep".....must be getting a batch of the ChickyPox/ Rubella/ and Mumps Perloo up....they don't want to be outdone by some
    new 'strain' on the door handle.........
