Kansas City Star Wallows In Coronavirus Fear

The quick effort to fight Coronavirus has offered some Americans a reason to find hope amid struggle.

Meanwhile, this bleak report from the newspaper focuses on death threats and offers a bleak outlook . . . You decide:

If we don't take coronavirus seriously, expect hard choices at Children's Mercy and beyond

We are at war against COVID-19. The battle requires an unusual strategy. To win, we have to stay home and stay isolated to slow the spread of the virus. If we don't, we won't have the resources to care for our wounded and dying.

  2. ^^^ I agree, what an effing douche. Must be a dimwit because it sounds like he’s all for letting people die, just like deblasio in New York.

  4. Fearmongering is what the Kansas City Star is doing with this editorial. I don't buy the paper, checking this blog is a much better view of what's happening in Kansas City.

If you didn't like it or you were really scared, you would read it every day like the rest of us.

  6. So the whole country has less than 200,000 ventilators? So if a chemical plant near a city of 300,000 sprang a toxic leak at night, and the cloud covered the city, there would only be enough vents to treat 200,000 of the residents? The rest die?

  7. ^^^ if you’re stupid enough to live that close to a chemical plant.....

  8. Well the issue is that gasses can form in huge clouds if the humidity is right and drift 50 to 100 miles in a tight cloud. Killing all in the path.
