Local shops and service workers endure social media criticism and consumer questions about Kansas City 'Stay At Home' Orders.

Here's more explanation . . .

Confusion continues on essential businesses, activities as stay-at-home order begins

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Tuesday was the first day of the stay-at-home order in the Kansas City area. Leaders of multiple jurisdictions worked together to draft the order and slow the spread of COVID-19. Although the list of businesses allowed to be open at this time is on Kansas City's website and every county's website as well, there's still a lot of confusion.

Comments

  1. Essential would be liquor stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, dope dealers, strip joints, Quik Trip, police, hospitals. Non essential would be mayor, city council, gay bars, the Star.

  2. Why do we have 4 local news shows? One station per day. Everyone else should be at home. The Star can shutdown.

  3. ^^^ Did you not read the stay at home order? Media has been declared essential. How else are you going to know what cat food to buy?

  4. The gun stores are open, they’re essential, what a joke.
