KANSAS CITY FIREFIGHTER CONTRACTS CORONAVIRUS!!!

Given the close living quarters of firefighters with their colleagues and the importance of keeping first responders safe . . . Here's a local case that requires an abundance of caution:

Kansas City firefighter tests positive for COVID-19

The Kansas City Fire Department says that one of its firefighters has tested positive for COVID-19. The Fire Department said the firefighter has self-quarantined at home and has not required hospitalization. Authorities said that on March 20, a firefighter informed the Fire Department's designated representative that they felt ill.

It is highly contagious. Firefighters are immune to work, not virus.
