Kansas City metro under red flag warning for increased fire risk
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A red flag warning will be in effect for the Kansas City metro on Thursday, with dry and windy conditions contributing to an increased risk for fires in the area. The Nation Weather Service said that dry grasses and vegetation following winter, combined with strong winds and low humidity, "will lead to dangerous weather conditions" on Thursday afternoon.
Be careful out there today folks and don't make an ash of yourself or something.
