The coronavirus pandemic has slowed local murders but not stopped them altogether. Here's the overnight report on the latest local murder from an area crime hotspot:
Police investigate after man shot, killed near 42nd, Prospect
Deets:
According to police, witnesses told them the suspect entered a home and was involved in a disturbance with a man. The suspect shot the man before leaving the scene.
Anyone with information leading to an arrest is eligible for up to $25,000 in reward money. Call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
Again, this is the 36th homicide so far this year compared to 32 at this time last year.
